I face difficulty in communicating and completely expressing myself, was thinking how to improve in this area. This morning I realized that I talk too softly and in low voice and decided henceforth I will talk in loud and clear voice(4 point that you have mentioned).

The best part is then I saw you have posted a Wucast on Throat Chakra, woow that was a very pleasant synchronicity from Universe.

Thanks Alex, Thanks Universe, Thanks Angels & my lovely spirit guides :)

@Arun – yeah, I’ve run into a lot of people who talk really softly. There was a woman at work that you could barely hear a lot of the time, especially if she was trying to talk during a meeting. It definitely communicates a much different message when you’re talking very softly as opposed to loudly. It affects your confidence too.

Thanks for the feedback, and glad to hear the podcast’s helped you :)

A good podcast, with some good ideas. I’m familiar with the first six, but it’s the first time I’ve heard about this meditation.

I have a question about throat chakras, at least I think it’s about throat chakras. At certain times, I’ve had a very strong feeling in my throat. An intense tightening which is almost painful. This is usually accompanied with intense emotions. Does this make any sense to you?

@markc: When you feel tightening in your throat, that can be a sign that you’re being affected by the energy of a situation or another person. That energy is bringing up a lot of emotions in you, almost attacking you, and may be making it difficult for you to speak up and communicate. This has happened to me before in difficult or awkward situations – dealing with difficult clients, my boss, etc.

There may be fear involved, along with other emotions. It’s important to navigate such situations carefully – speak up for yourself, but choose your words carefully.

I also have the same problem of constriction in throat when i am depressed or sad its almost painful as if i cant breathe whenever it happens i cant express my self or even feel positive emotions(althoug i am very greatful that this has reduced over time) do you think this podcast can help me with these issues?

@Tank – my intuition is telling me that you would benefit from tip#7, meditation and visualization. Practice that every night when you’re meditating, and see your throat chakra expanding in your mind’s eye, with rays of blue light bursting in every direction from your throat.

I’m going to work on all of these Alex, which one do you think would benefit me the most?

This has always happened when I’ve been alone. I was certainly feeling very strong emotion, but not fear, although I’m not quite clear on the emotion; strange as that sounds. On one occasion I was reading a short story involving psychic attacks and psychic experiences generally. On another occasion I was watching a film; if I remember correctly.

It sounds like you, me and Tank have had the same experience in different situations, but I would guess there must be some common factor.

@Derek – You don’t have any major issues with your throat chakra, but somehow I feel #5 and 6 will appeal to you :)

@markc – Hmm… next time it happens, do the visualization in tip #7, and see if that helps relieve the throat constriction?

I’d like to add that the constriction of my throat chakra – which I think it must have been – preceded the emotional state. Or, perhaps, they happened at the same time. However, before this happened, when I was reading, I felt quite calm and happy.

I’ll do that.
